Early experiments in 2009 on the affects of Plasma Emission Field Treatments (PEFT) on HUMAN PANCREATIC CANCER CELLS in vitro revealed that PEFT has a unique ability to provide a 'double' adjuvant affect in assisting some chemotherapeutic drugs in destroying cancer cells. It was found that PEFT had a DOUBLE BENEFIT:

1) WHEN USED IN COMBINATION WITH CHEMOTHERAPEUTIC DRUGS AGAINST CANCER, PEFT CAN DOUBLE THE NUMBER OF CANCER CELLS THAT CHEMO ALONE CAN KILL. This is called an 'adjuvant' affect of PEFT (PEFT assists Chemo!).

2) PEFT ALLOWS A REDUCTION IN THE CONCENTRATION OF THE CHEMO DRUG BY A FACTOR OF 4 OR MORE AND YET DOUBLES THE TOTAL NUMBER OF CANCER CELLS KILLED by CHEMO ALONE!

By using PEFT in combination with CHEMO, we found we can drop the concentration levels of the drug by a huge factor and yet double the number of cancer cells killed by chemo alone. This means that there is a potential for eventually treating cancer patients with a combination of PEFT+CHEMO, but by reducing the concentration levels of the chemo, we 'water down the chemo' somewhat so that we might also REDUCE THE SIDE EFFECTS OF CHEMO BY LOWERING THE CHEMO CONCENTRATION LEVELS YET WE SIMULTANEOUSLY DOUBLE THE NUMBER OF CANCER CELLS KILLED BY CHEMO ALON!.

The graph below demonsrates that PEFT had an 'adjuvant' affect in combination with CHEMO, doubling the number of cells killed while simultaneously lowering the amount of CHEMO needed to kill the cells. THIS IS A DOUBLE BENEFIT FROM PEFT WHEN USED IN COMBINATION WITH CHEMOTHERAPY.

Explanation: [note: 'pulsed' in the chart above means cells that received PEFT treatment]. In the graph above, the X axis (bottom line with numbers 0, 0.04 and 0.08) list the concentration levels of the chemotherapeutic drug Gemcitabine (the standard chemo drug used for most pancreatic cancers). The drug concentration levels are listed in units called 'microMolar' [0.08 microMolar (far right on X axis) is double the concentration level of 0.04 microMolar (left of center on X axis) for example). The descending black line shows a gradual reduction in the number of 'viable' cancer cells, meaning we start with about 97% cancer cells alive, then gradually drop off to 80% of the cells alive, then 60% and so on until we drop down to about 5% of cancer cells left alive.... at that point nearly all the cancer cells have been killed and are no longer 'viable'. If you look at the light purple colored line on the graph (the descending line on the left of the graph), you see that it drops off much faster/sooner than the the black line. This means that the cancer cells are dying sooner than the cancer cells shown in the black line... and the fact of the light purple line being on the left of the black line (left on the X axis of drug concentration levels) demonstrates that a much lower level of chemo drug was needed to kill the cells twice as effectively as chemo alone.

THE CANCER RESEARCHERS ADVISED NOVOBIOTRONICS THAT THIS WAS A 'DOUBLE WIN' FOR PEFT WHEN USED IN COMBINATION WITH CERTAIN CHEMOTHERAPEUTIC DRUGS: YOU CAN REDUCE THE CONCENTRATION LEVELS OF THE CHEMO [possibly reducing side effects later when used in patients] BUT YOU ALSO DOUBLE THE NUMBER OF CANCER CELLS KILLED! A DOUBLE BENEFIT OF PEFT WHEN USED IN COMBINATION WITH CHEMO.

NOVOBIOTRONICS was the first to discover and document the affects of PEFT on human cancer cells and the adjuvant affect of PEFT when used in combination with chemotherapeutic drugs in vitro.

Help us move to the next step of our research: to see if we can destroy cancer cells in living animals. We are anxious to move ahead with this next stage of our research, but a study with animals is quite expensive, so we are soliciting help from the public.
